Bastard Measure

Bastard Measure is a typographic term used in newspapers for any non-standard width for a column of text. Each issue of the newspaper brings together a collection of artists and designers who all respond to a common theme. The 3 issues produced to date have been based on: 01 – Reflection, 02 – Belief, 03 – The Senses. With the newspaper format, the reader can re-arrange the pages as they please, creating some interesting and unexpected results. Issues 01 and 02 are black and white, while issue 03 is full colour.

Skate Shoot

After months of talking about working together on something outside of work, photographer Heiko Prigge and Reason finally set out on this self-initiated project to shoot skate parks. The parks take on a strange alien-like quality at night when no-one is using them. To emphasise this feeling, the images are all produced in-camera using long exposures, creating strange lighting and shadows. A selection of these shots were chosen for a photographic show at the Photofusion Gallery in South London.
