Root + Bone

The creative director at Reason, Mark, is one of four founders of Root + Bone, a magazine looking at the offcuts of the food and drink industry. Following some earlier commissions as a loose collective, the first issue appeared in 2013, with a small print run of 2,000 copies that were distributed from zipcars around London. As a quarterly publication, the two year anniversary was reached with issue eight in November 2015 and has grown to 20,000 copies with a distribution network of over 220 stockists around London, the UK and as far as New York and Melbourne. We created the identity itself and work with a wide network of collaborators to produce content for the magazine, events and commissions.
