Brunel University London
Green Trail
Following the success of a previous recruitment campaign, we were commissioned to work with Brunel on their Green Trail project. The trail is a permanent installation across campus that highlights the university’s energy efficient buildings and showcases their world-class research methods aiming to meet today’s global energy challenge.
There are four main information signs around the site, along with 12 individual signs that focus on a range of environmental initiatives from a wind turbine and biomass boiler to solar panels and harvesting rainwater.
We designed the lecturn-style wayfinding signs themselves and the information panels which can be replaced or updated when required. We also commissioned an illustration style to help explain the technical information of each building, which work alongside simple, bold infographics highlighting key facts and figures.
The design and assets were also applied to a dedicated section on the university website.
