IAP Fine Art

Chris Gollon

The gallery, founded by arts writer, curator and collector David Tregunna, was based in London from 1994 to 2016 before relocating to Monmouth. They are an established fine art gallery, print and exhibition catalogue publisher, representing and exhibiting the work of various artists.

Reason started working with IAP in 2010 and throughout that time we have worked on a wide variety of materials for the gallery. In particular, we have worked on many of the projects for established British artist Chris Gollon, both before and after his sad, untimely death in 2017.

We have worked on various exhibition materials, including the design and art-direction of the catalogue ‘Incarnation, Mary & Women from the Bible’ which has since become a major national touring exhibition visiting a number of British cathedrals. We also produced the creative approach for ‘And it Came to Pass’, a collaboration between Chris and Grammy-nominated classical musician and composer Yi Yao. The installation comprises of a 41ft long painting accompanied by a 20-minute musical piece presented on CD.

More recently, the new Chris Gollon website was completed and launched in 2018, showcasing the varied projects and collections he has produced. A new catalogue will be launched in the summer of 2019 specifically about ‘Fourteen Stations of the Cross’ which were permanently installed in the Church of St John on Bethnal Green in 2009.
