Latitude is known as the best family festival in the UK and we have been involved in the creative process for nine years. Each year, we are commissioned to design a campaign identity and programme to appeal to the diverse audience at Latitude. We manage the extensive content, including text and images, copy writing and proofing. The timescale is very tight which means we provide a dedicated, constant team to manage the process.
We present an exciting, innovative creative direction for the 300+ page programme which is also applied to other materials and merchandise items. This can involve commissioning specific photography or illustration, or utilising existing assets from the archive. For the 2013 programme we created a fantastical scene made from intricate cut-out figures and details from around the festival. We built each landscape and art-directed the photoshoot, resulting in eight scenes used on the cover, dividers and contents pages.
