Recruitment campaign identity

Reason worked with Brand Ethos to help Brunel University develop a fresh brand approach for their 2016 student recruitment campaign. Following the results of extensive research we developed an identity that represents the two sides of Brunel life – the course and the lifestyle – combining to create a unique experience. A brand toolkit and various document templates were supplied to the in-house design team, including details on how to use the new identity for print and digital applications.

Subsequently, we were asked to evolve the style to represent the renamed Professional Development Centre, part of Brunel+, a wide variety of services offered to students to help further their careers outside their normal curriculum. Brunel also commissioned us to create a new strand of work for their global recruitment campaign. We produced over 40 documents, including numerous language translations, alongside interactive materials.

The project won a bronze award at The Design Business Association’s annual Design Effectiveness Awards in 2017.
